About First Service Restoration
In 1975 at the age of 14, John Stockton took a part-time job after school working for a restoration company cleaning walls and contents after fires and floods. He has never looked back.
One of John’s favorite quotes is “The industry gets in your blood, no matter how many times you think you’ve seen everything, something comes along and excites you back into it, once you are in, you are in for life.”
For many years John worked with different companies within the industry honing his craft as a service provider and developing his estimating and people skills.
Over 30 years have passed since John picked up his first bucket and rag and was bitten by the service bug.

As the years have passed, the one thing that seems to always be the topic of conversation within the insurance industry has been the service (or the lack thereof).
It is time to put the service back into this industry!
We educate ourselves and use the latest equipment and techniques but what we don’t do is focus on why we are in this business: to provide the best possible service to our customers and their clients.
